One-on-One Learning Sessions

The Oregon Public Library offers free 30 minute one-on-one training sessions for adults by appointment. Register for one of the following sessions by calling Oregon Public Library at 835-3656 or by sending an email request for an appointment to orelib@oregonlibrary.org. Suggestions for other one-on-one training session topics are also welcome. All sessions are held at Oregon Public Library at 256 Brook Street.

Overdrive One-on-One

Schedule a 30-60 minute appointment with any questions you have about Overdrive with your new eReader .

Please bring your fully charged e-reader and any cables, your email address and password.  To use the Kindle or a Kindle app., please also bring your Amazon account login and password. Ipad users will also need their itunes login and password.

One-on-One Basic E-Mail or How to use the Internet

Schedule a half-hour appointment with a librarian to learn how to set up and get started using a free E-mail account.

Internet appointment will cover how to use a mouse and basic navigation of the Internet.

One-on-One LINKcat

These one-on-one sessions will introduce you to the library is LINKcat computerized library catalog. You will learn how to access LINKcat at the library and from your own computer, search Oregon Public Library's collection and the collections of over 30 other South Central Library System libraries, place holds to have your name added to a waiting list, check and manage your library account, and more. For those new to LINKcat or just needing a refresher to brush up skills and use LINKcat more effectively.
