Online Stories
Oregon Public Library offers weekly early literacy storytimes for toddlers and preschoolers during the school year. Storytimes are a great place to build the six early literacy skills through fun short stories, puppets, songs, activities, and crafts. Information about literacy and other parenting topics can be found on the Parent's Resource Page. No registration is requested for storytimes.
Picture Book Movies
August 17-September 8
Tuesday and Wednesday
10:00-10:30 am
Watch classic picture books come alive on the big screen. During the storytime break, we'll show 25 minutes of children's movies based on popular picture books. Each week will be a different set of movies.No registration for this program.

Fall Storytime Session
September 14-December 17
Drop-in Storytime
The program includes 30-40 minutes of short stories, songs, movement activities, and a craft. It is geared to ages 3-5, but younger and older children are welcome. The same program runs for the week.

Toddler Storytime
The program includes 20-30 minutes of short stories, songs, movement activities, and a craft. It is geared to ages 18-36 months.

Bilingual Spanish Storytime
This program includes stories, songs, and fingerplays in Spanish and English. It is geared to children ages 2-5 but younger and older children are welcome. Ellen Bauer of Grow into Spanish, LCC will run the storytime. It is held the 2nd Monday of the month from 10:00-10:30 am. No registration for this program.

The whole family is welcome to join us for a puppet play along with short stories, songs, and activities. This is a monthly Monday evening storytime, 6:30-7:00 pm. No registration for this program.

Online Stories
- Speakaboos Listen to online children’s stories such as Arthur, Curious George and other classic stories. Foreign language stories and multicultural stories are forthcoming. A feature to record your own story is available.
- Storyline Enjoy a selection of stories read online by members of the Screen Actors Guild. Files are available for Windows Media, Real Player or Quicktime formats.
