Children's Library

The Oregon Public Library offers a variety of literacy, educational, recreational programs and services to children of all ages, abillities, and backgrounds. We also provide support to local educators and homeschooling families.

Spring Break

Movies and crafts for all ages! For tweens & teens we have an escape room!


Winter session ends March 23. Mini-spring session runs April 17-May 11.

We offer morning storytimes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers along with monthly sessions in the evening and Saturday mornings.

Literacy Programs

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

An early literacy program for families with children ages 0-5.

Winter Library Program

Children, teens, and adults can earn a chance to win fabulous grand prizes! Program runs January through February.

Summer Library Program

Children, teens, and adults can earn prizes for being read to or reading. Program runs June through August.

Parenting Collection

The library has a Parenting Collection by the Children's Fiction.

Topics include:

  • Potty training
  • Love and Logic parenting
  • Childhood development
  • Online safety
  • Playtime activities
