Donations
The Friends of the library accepts donations for the library and their Semi-Annual Used Book Sale.
Below is two lists of items; one for items that sell well and one for items we do not accept.
Other than books, we have found that the following items also sell well:
Movies on VHS or DVD
Music on CD
Jigsaw puzzles (with all the pieces)
Books on tape or CD
Board games (with all the pieces)
We have discovered that a few items do not sell well and actually cost us quite a bit of extra effort to dispose after each sale.
So, please review this short list of items that we CANNOT accept for our sales:
Readers Digest Condensed books
Encyclopedias older than 2000
Books missing pages or their covers
Textbooks older than 1990
Musty, wrinkled, damaged books
Magazines of any kind (the library does have free magazine swap bins for current year magazines)
Series Romances (ie Harlequin, Silhouette)
