  • Zero to Three Is a national nonprofit organization that informs, trains and supports professionals, policymakers and parents in their efforts to improve the lives of infants and toddlers.

Online Safety

  • OnGuard Online is the federal government’s website to help you be safe, secure and responsible online. The site covers protecting kids online but also avoiding scams and securing your computer.
  • is maintained by Larry Magid, the author of Child Safety on the Information Highway, and provides parents with the information they need to keep their children safe on the Internet.
  • Stay Safe Online is run the National Cyber Security Alliance and provides tips and advice for everyone on using the Internet safely and securely at home, work, and school.

Parenting Collection

The library has a Parenting Collection by the children's magazines. Topics include baby sign language, potty training, Love and Logic parenting, childhood and adolescent development, discipline, Internet safety, health and fitness, reading and math skills development, and playtime activities.
