In their book, The Transformative Power of Art, Maria Katsaros-Molzahn and Magda Demou-Gryparis focus on the ups and downs of Magda’s life, including war, kindness, and medical malpractice. In the midst of a deep depression, the guidance of a true healer, led Magda on her life’s journey in art. A gentle, yet powerful story, this book encourages others to move beyond obstacles and explores how art has the power to heal and transform the soul.
This program includes a hands-on watercolor activity and 30 participants will receive a free watercolor kit. If you are not able to pick up a kit or if you already have watercolors, you can register without the kit. The watercolor kit of materials (2 sheets of watercolor paper, a watercolor pallet, a brush).
