Introduction to MakeCode

MakeCode interfaceA learning event for teens and adults.

Learning to program can be an intimidating prospect. Microsoft’s MakeCode allows you to explore programming concepts without having to worry about language and syntax.

We’ll briefly cover concepts like variables, loops, input/output and conditions, then do some hands-on, guided, group learning, ultimately programming some microcontrollers to perform basic functions!

Registration is required. Register online.  Contact Kara Ripley at kripley@oregonlibrary.org with any questions.

This event is part of Wisconsin Science Festival. Get more information about other events at: https://wisconsinsciencefest.org/
