Picky Eating: How to Get Off the Mealtime Struggle Bus

For parents and caregivers of children ages 0-7.

Your child used to eat everything and now he won’t touch a thing! This is completely normal, but it doesn’t have to stay this way or ruin your family’s mealtime experience. During this presentation, learn why kids may become more selective as they grow older, phrases to avoid saying to your child, how to respond when your child throws another tantrum at the dinner table, and practical tips to change your selective eater into an adventurous eater just in time for your family's Thanksgiving meal.

The program is lead by Kara Hoerr is a registered dietitian nutritionist and owner of Kara Hoerr Nutrition, a private practice in the Madison area. She specializes in family and childhood nutrition and adult weight management.

If you have questions or need special accommodations at events contact Kara at (608) 835-6268 or kripley@oregonlibrary.org.

The program is made possible through funding from the Friends of the Oregon Library.
