Justin W. Patchin, Ph.D., Co-director, Cyberbullying Research Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, will share some of the risks associated with putting too much personal information on social networking websites like Snapchat, Instagram, and Twitter.  He will also discuss the importance of managing one’s online reputation and digital tattoo. After attending the session, participants will be able to:

  • Explain to youth the possible consequences of posting personal information online
  • Understand the particular concerns with posting explicit images online (e.g., sexting)
  • Instill in youth the importance of developing a positive online reputation
