Virtual Mindfulness for Families

Mindfulness is the awareness that arises by bringing a kind, curious attention to inner and outer experiences in the moment they are happening.

In this fun, interactive session, children ages 5-12 along with their parent or caregiver will discover simple mindfulness techniques that support the ABCs of a healthy mind: Attention, Balance and Compassion. No experience necessary. Session led by Kelly Petrie.

Kelly Petrie is a professional mindfulness educator with a master’s degree in contemplative education and is the owner of the Maitri Center for Mindful Living, LLC in Oregon WI. Kelly has been teaching mindfulness to children, adults & educators in the Oregon community since 2011. You can find out more about Kelly and the Maitri Center at www.maitricenterllc.com.
