The Eureka! Collection includes non-traditional library materials that inspire exploration through hands-on activities. It is organized into categories and is located next to the Teen Area on the way to the Makerspace. Items in the Eureka Collection check out for 14 days.
Why Eureka?
The ancient Greek scholar Archimedes reportedly exclaimed Eureka! (meaning “I found it”) after he had stepped into a bath one day and realized that the volume of displaced water must be equal to the volume of what was submerged.
