Un-Book Club at OYC

Oregon Youth Center, 110 N. Oak St.

In a regular book club, everyone reads and talks about the same book. We are doing things a little different. We explore a genre through book talks and hands-on activities. A great way to learn about a genre or find your next book!

At the June 25th meeting, we will book talk books for the upcoming themes and talk about how the club will run.  You do not need to attend all of the meetings.

Lunch will be available during the club!

June 25- Make buttons while Librarian Kelly talks books!
July 2 - Survival - Hurricane Jars & Earthquake engineering
July 16 - Science Fiction/Fantasy -Make a galaxy t-shirt or bag. Bring your own black t-shirt. Library will provide small black tote bags.
July 30 - Realistic Fiction - Make your own book.
August 13 - Mystery - we are doing an escape room together.

The club is a partnership with the Oregon Youth Center.

No registration. For young people ages 10-15, or going into grades 5-8.
