End of Summer Pool Party

Keep reading so you don’t miss out on some splashy fun! Children and teens who complete all three monthly activity sheets get FREE entry to the End of Summer Pool Party. Rubber Ducky participants are also included. You can turn-in completed activity sheets for past months anytime to earn a FREE entry to the POOL PARTY and a FREE BOOK.
Everyone is welcome to the Pool Party even if you do not complete the reading program. However, you must pay the entry fee to the Oregon Pool ($1.50 for children and $3 for adults).
Weekly Storytimes end on August 1 and will resume September 9.
Oregon Public Library offers weekly early literacy storytimes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Storytime is a great place to build early literacy skills through fun short stories, puppets, songs, activities, and crafts.

August 12, 6:30 pm
Join Kelly to present an evening of bedtime favorites, songs, and activities. Wear pajamas.
August 19, 6:30 pm
It is never to young to begin building early literacy skills. Storytime is the perfect place to start. Join us for an energetic storytime and community baby shower for babies newborn to 18 months with their caregiver.
August 2, 10 am
Join us for stories and songs followed by donuts and juice for kids and coffee for adults. The storytime is for Dads and children under 6 but everyone is welcome.
Upcoming Date: September 15 at 6:30 pm
The whole family is welcome to join us for a puppet play along with short stories, songs, and activities. This program occurs the 3rd Monday (January-May) from 6:30-7:00 pm.
Afterschool on Mondays
The program will return September 29. LEGO Club and Chess Club will still be part of the series but we are adding science, art & crafts, and other fun activities.
An early literacy program for families with children ages 0-5.
Children, teens, and adults can earn prizes for being read to or reading. Program runs in June through August.
