You can show support by donating books, time, and money. By showing your support, you help ensure that Oregon Library will continue to be a special place where people, ideas, and the community can grow.
Thank you for your support!
A great way to support Oregon Library is to donate your used materials to the Friends of Oregon Public Library. The Friends will re-sell your donations at their semi-annual Book Sales. Proceeds from the sales help sponsor Library projects and activities not covered by the Library's operating budget. Contributions are tax-deductible.

Volunteers assist the library in meeting its commitment to its mission to provide quality service. Volunteer opportunities range from pulling items from the shelves to fill holds, shelving, shelf-reading, light cleaning, program help, and more.

The Oregon Public Library is also a part of the Beyond the Page project. It is a joint effort of the Dane County Library Service and the Madison Community Foundation to create a permanent endowment that will support humanities programming in all 28 public libraries in Dane County – forever.

Calculate the Value of Oregon Library to the Community
We know you value the services and resources provided by your public library, but just how much are those services worth? How much would you pay out-of-pocket if the library didn't exist, or if these services and resources weren't available at no cost?
Take a moment and reflect on your library use over the past month, then plug those numbers into the Library Value Calculator.
