Join us for an exciting night of poetry writing with poet: Steve Espada Dawson. With interactive writing exercises you can learn more on how to begin your writing journey or hone your craft even further!

From East Los Angeles, Steven Espada Dawson now lives in Madison, where he is the Halls Fellow in Poetry at the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing. The son of a Mexican immigrant, he is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize and a Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation. Most recently, his work appears in AGNI, Guernica, Kenyon Review, Ninth Letter, and Poetry.
