BioBlitz

An all ages event. No registration required. 

A Bioblitz is citizen science project that collects information about our local plant and wildlife. Using your smartphone or tablet and the community science app, iNaturalist,  transform Anderson Park into a living laboratory!

Come to Anderson Park with your phone or tablet and use the free app iNaturalist. Explore Anderson Park and make photo observations about insects, plants, and animals that you see. Photo observations are instantly uploaded into the global database, where species are identified by the millions-strong iNaturalist community, and the data is used by real conservationists and researchers who study species health and biodiversity.

At 10 am enjoy a special Saturday Storytime with Ms. Kelly. Water, snacks, wildlife notebooks available as long as supplies last.
