Children's Library

reading nookThe Oregon Public Library offers a variety of literacy, educational, and recreational programs and services to children of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We also provide support to local educators and homeschooling families.

For special accommodations at events: Please contact Kelly Allen by phone at (608) 835-3656, or email kallen@oregonlibrary.org two weeks in advance. Children's programs are cancelled when school closes due to severe weather.

Storytimes & Open Plays

No storytime October 15th - 18th. The Friends are setting up for their semiannual book sale. Please consider attending the book sale as all proceeds support the library's storytimes, summer reading program, afterschool programs, and more!

Eureka  Jr Club

Tuesdays, 3:15 pm - 4:30 pm

Every Tuesday kids ages 5-11 do a hands-on STEAM activity. Schedule here. For ages 5-11.

Tween Advisory Board

3rd Wednesday, 4 pm to 5 pm

Young people ages 8-11 can help the librarians with projects!
