Volunteer

Volunteers assist the library in meeting its commitment to provide quality service. While providing this valuable assistance, volunteers connect the library to the community in a way that encourages citizens to become familiar with the library and its many resources.

General Library Volunteers 

Current Openings: 

Dungeon Master to run Dungeons and Dragon Club for grades 6 and up. Candidates must have experience being a DM and must be at least ages 16 and up. Adults must agree to a background check. We are looking for DMs who are comfortable with tweens and teens; able to lead and manage a group; creates engaging, fun storylines; knows the common rules; is flexible; good a voice acting a plus. Library has Player's Handbook, sets of polyhedral dice, and other supplies needed to run the clubs. Other opportunities:

  • We will try to accommodate requests to fulfill hours for school or club service requirements.
  • For students in grades 6th-12th, consider joining Teen Advisory Council of Students (T.A.C.O.S) to earn hours during the school year. Attend a monthly meeting to learn more.
  • Applications for Summer Library Program Youth Volunteer program (ages 12-17) will be available in May to help this summer.
